Student Nursing Exchange 2020

Since 1995 an annual exchange of student nurses from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and Houston Baptist University has been arranged by the Grampian-Houston Association and the Houston/Grampian Association.

The students selected spend two weeks in their Sister City studying healthcare provision and nursing education and draw up a report comparing provision in Scotland and Texas.

The students taking part in the 2020 exchange are Emma Berrill and Megan Thom from Robert Gordon  University School of Nursing and Midwifery Emma Berrill and Megan Thom and from Houston Baptist University Toni Garcia and Veronika Kirienko.

Unfortunately, the 2020 exchange had to be called off because of the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictionis in force to curb the spead of the virus also resulted in the cancellation of the exchange in  2021.
