G.H.A. Events 2020

A company of 65 attended the annual Grampian-Houston Association Jazz Lunch at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa, Aberdeen, on Sunday, 1 March.  Association Chairman Kristin Jackson Brown welcomed guests and the Rev. Professor David Atkinson said grace. The jazz was supplied by Strutin’ Futrets.

A prize draw raised £520 towards the cost of sending two Robert Gordon University student nurses – Megan Thom and Emma Berrill - on a two week study visit to Houston in September. Kristin thanks all those who donated draw prizes including Munro’s Travel Group who donated a weekend for two in Glasgow inclusive of rail travel and hotel accommodation, and the Marcliffe Hotel who offered Sunday lunch for four.

Kristin also thanked the Association’s Social Convener Marlene McLeod for making all the arrangements which ensured the success of the event.
