Bob Martin, who was Chairman of the Grampian-Houston Assoiciation from 1982 to 1984, died in Aberdeen, aged 79, on 28 May,2020.

He and his wife Sheila were members of the first official exchange delegation to Houston in 1980. He was founder and Managing Director of Newmar Oil Services in Aberdeen and became the second GHA Chairman when he succeeded the Founder Chairman Robert Anderson.

Bob, who lived at Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, is survived by his wife, daughters Carol and Sandra and six grandchildren. He is pictured here with the Texas flag as C. Jim Stewart, Founder Chairman of the Houston/Grampian Association looks on.
